Liza Ferneyhough
Liza Ferneyhough is an artist who grew up ambiguously tan in California. Her family’s passports came from three different countries: Malaysia, England, and the U.S. After studying illustration at Otis and RISD, she worked as a children’s bookseller, a designer, and a freelance illustrator (New Moon Girls magazine, Ten Speed Press). She currently draws and paints in a hobbity San Francisco apartment she shares with her husband and too many piles of books, gadgets, and musical instruments. Nana, Nenek, and Nina, her debut picture book as an author/illustrator, will be published by Dial Books for Young Readers in 2022. She is represented by Kurestin Armada at Root Literary.
