Kjersten Hayes

Kjersten Hayes wears many artistic hats: collage artist, book artist, art teacher, and picture book writer. Her debut picture book THE ELEPHANTS’ GUIDE TO HIDE-AND-SEEK, a tongue-in-cheek guidebook for elephants seeking to improve their hide-and-seek-skills, will be published by Sourcebooks Jabberwocky on April 1, 2020, and illustrated by Gladys Jose-Fabii. Kjersten currently lives in Bellingham, WA, in a century-old house full of color, books, pottery, art, and music (or sometimes just noise).
